Shipping and Delivery

To the value of the products ordered may be added the cost of shipping under the terms regulated on this website. The consumer will be informed of the final price of his purchase, with the breakdown of the amount of shipping costs, in a moment prior to the conclusion of the order.

In the cases of non-EU countries, the shipping costs refer only to the exportation expenses (exit from Portugal to the border of the destination country). If there are importation costs (for entering the product in the destination country), these are the customer’s responsibility.

Sometimes Castelbel offers free shipping regardless of the delivery location and the value of the order, and such offer of shipping costs is applied at the time of order completion.

When any such campaign occurs, it will be clearly announced on the Castelbel website.

Mainland Portugal

All orders destined for mainland Portugal will be shipped through DPD, and subject to the shipping costs mentioned below.

– Mainland Portugal: for orders over €50 (fifty euros) the shipping costs will be free;

– For purchases of €50 or less (fifty euros) the shipping costs will be borne by the user and will have a flat rate of €5.00 (five euros);

– When finalizing the purchase process, the consumer will be informed of the total costs of the purchase, including shipping costs.

– Normal shipping time – up to 3 business days (after order payment confirmation).

Delivery to the islands – sea transport

– Portuguese Islands – no free shipping is available at the present time;

The transit times identified correspond to the period of time between the order leaving our warehouse and the order being received from you, i.e. after the order has been processed for shipment.

We are not responsible for any tariffs or customs duties on orders.

Castelbel, owner of the website www.castelbel.com , is open Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00, except on holidays.

All orders placed on the Castelbel website will only be processed by the services Monday through Friday, regardless of whether you placed your order on a weekend or a holiday.

All orders orders are shipped within 1 to 3 business days after payment and order completion. As soon as your order is shipped, we will send you an email with tracking and pickup instructions.

The shipment confirmation will include, in all orders, the carrier and the shipment number information.

O transit time depends on the country of delivery and the shipping method chosen.

However, there are exceptions to the normal order delivery times during sales and holiday seasons, vacation periods, or periods of exceptional workload, during which delivery times may be slightly longer.

The delivery times mentioned in the tables are indicative only, and do not take into account any delays that may be caused by problems with payment authorizations or due to carrier delays.

All orders need to be signed for upon delivery to generate a proof of delivery.
Once the orders are shipped, Castelbel cannot change the delivery address of the orders.

As soon as your order is shipped, we will send you an email with tracking and pickup instructions.

If shipping is delayed, a new delivery date will be proposed, and if this new date is not convenient for you, you may request cancellation of your order, and you will be reimbursed for the amount spent within 10 days.

DPD carrier.

When making a purchase on the Castelbel website and through DPD, the user can choose to receive the order in two different ways:

1) At the collection point;
2) At home.

When you request delivery to a collection point (1), the order will be left in the care of the person in charge of the collection point and you will be informed, via e-mail and SMS, of the entire process until delivery. The pickup points are always places of passage and usually have a very extended schedule (including weekends) that make it possible to pick up the order conveniently and conveniently.
If you request home delivery (2), the order will be left at the address indicated by the user, who will be informed by e-mail and SMS of the delivery time window. If it turns out that there is currently no one at the address to receive the order, it will be redirected to the closest collection point to the address indicated by the user.

When the order is redirected to a pickup point, the recipient is notified by e-mail or SMS of the location to which it has been redirected and which will be available for pickup. You will have a maximum of 10 days to pick up your order before it is returned to the sender (Castelbel).

You are requested, upon delivery of all shipments, and BEFORE signing the delivery document, to carefully inspect the box.

All Castelbel packaging is properly sealed with customized plastic tape for better product packaging.

If, at the time of delivery, the packaging appears to be tampered with, please sign the delivery document with reservations or else refuse delivery.

If you accept delivery of your order with reservations, or if you refuse it, you should immediately make a complaint to the carrier and contact Castelbel at shoponline@castelbel.com.

If your order is for the Eurozone, it will be shipped via DPD. If your order is for non-EU countries, it will be shipped via TNT.

It is possible to change your order while it is being processed. To request a change, please contact us at shoponline@castelbel.com or via WhatsApp +351 913964852 and we will inform you of the (im)possibility of change, depending on the order preparation stage.

Once orders are shipped, they cannot be changed and Castelbel cannot change the delivery address.

To do so, you should log on to the DPD site and follow the steps indicated by the company.

You must indicate the delivery address when you complete the order process, and it is possible to indicate a delivery address that is different from your billing address. However, it is only possible to request delivery to the Eurozone countries, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, the United States, and Canada.

Orders that are not delivered due to your fault, including errors in providing the address or any other causes that make it impossible to deliver the order to the indicated address, will be returned to Castelbel.

The costs of shipping and returning your order will be charged to you and will be deducted from any refunds.

Castelbel takes responsibility for the order during the transit period until it is delivered to you.

Upon delivery of the order, the user must sign the document confirming receipt, at which point responsibility is transferred to the user.

If you designate a recipient other than yourself for delivery, you will accept the signature of that third party as proof of delivery of the order and of Castelbel’s compliance with its obligations and transfer of responsibility.

Only available in the following countries – Austria, Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Netherlands/Netherlands, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain.

It allows you to deliver the items to be returned to a pick-up point chosen for the purpose. Afterwards, the carrier will pick up the items at that location and transport them to our warehouse.

Please note that the return of the item(s) should only be done via the carrier indicated in the email sent by Castelbel, and you should follow the instructions sent to you to complete this process.
